Friday - May 29

  • Play is popping up at the Museum. Our education team is ready to explore, learn, and make memorable learning moments with both children and adults.

  • Price: included with admission

  • Come to the Garage and enjoy local teen art of various mediums!

  • The event showcases selected student artworks inspired by Korean cinema, falling into two categories

  • Price: $35

  • A Hot Wheels Monster Truck will be rolling into the parking lot across from our main Hoyt Street entrance! Come by for photo ops, giveaways, signed goodies, and a chance to see this larger-than-life truck up close.

  • Price: Included with admission ($22; ages 12 months and younger are free)

  • Come enjoy some indoor gym play with toys, bounce houses, mats and other fun activities for children ages 5 and under. Parents/caregivers must supervise their own children and be present at all times.

♻️ Cascade Recycling Center Tour (Woodinville)

  • Attend WM’s recycling center tour and become a recycling expert! During the tour, you’ll learn what happens to your recycling when it leaves the curb, why it’s so important to Recycle Right, and more. Ages 10 and older

  • Price: free

  • ​Come enjoy live music from the orchestra and purchase dinner or treats from local food trucks. Proceeds support the Bellevue High School Orchestra!

🛝 Toddler Time (Issaquah)

  • An indoor playground at the Issaquah Community Center with cars, bikes, slides, wagons and lots more active toys to discover! Parents are responsible for their own child.

  • You can try new fruits or vegetables. Many farmers markets offer lesser-known produce, giving you access to a variety of fruits and vegetables that can be nutritious and delicious.

🛻 Woodinville Farmers Market (Woodinville)

  • Homegrown. Handmade. In the heart of Woodinville. Are you in the mood for some fresh produce, boutique baked goods, artisanal sauces, cider, and other delightful treats?

  • Rock Garden Plant Sale sponsored by the NW Chapter of the North American Rock Garden Society. Offers rare and unusual plants, from Northwest natives to unique member‑donated treasures you won’t find anywhere else.

  • Free. Local produce, crafts, baked goods, and free live music at the gazebo 11 AM–1 PM. Season runs May–October.

  • Merchants at Gilman Village invite you to their 2026 Annual Spring Fest on Saturday, May 30, from 6-9 p.m. Sip, shop, and stroll throughout Gilman Village, visit with local wineries, and enjoy live music. Check out shops and specials for this event at participating retail locations and restaurants.

  • Price: $35 in advance or $40 at the event

  • Join a lively sing-along movie featuring Trolls, where kids can sing, dance and get their wiggles out.

  • The Kent International Festival is a celebration of the cultural diversity represented in the greater Kent community. We believe that, through coming together and celebrating our various heritages with respect and understanding, we build a stronger and wider sense of community that is inclusive of all ages.

🐝 Pollinator Fest (Woodinville)

  • 21 Acres will be buzzing with festive activities for the whole family at the third annual Pollinator Fest on May 30, 2026. Organized by Pollinator Pathway NW, there will be native plant info, organic gardening tips, information booths and vendors, guest speakers, food carts, a tour of the PPNW pollinator garden on the 21 Acres campus, and more. All ages.

🏃‍♂️ Grandparents Race (Auburn)

  • No charge for the wise and wrinkled! After the third horse race, it's time for the Grandparents Gallop! Watch as they shuffle, sprint, or maybe even moonwalk to the finish line. Trophies await those who manage to cross it without a nap break!

  • riders performing high-flying stunts and a fire-breathing, car crushing robot dinosaur. Special kids pricing is available for all shows providing a BIG value for the whole family!

🛶 Canoe Mercer Slough (Bellevue)

  • Explore the beautiful Mercer Slough Nature Park by water! Bellevue park rangers lead this 3-hour canoe trip from Enatai Beach Park. You may catch a glimpse of otters, herons, turtles, and other wildlife of Mercer Slough.

🦅 Giant Puppetry Workshop (Issaquah)

  • Discover the magic of puppetry in this immersive workshop with String and Shadow Puppet Theater, led by artist Emily McHugh. Over the course of four intensive sessions, participants will explore the fundamentals of giant puppet construction, using accessible materials like cardboard and papier-mâché to create two giant bird puppets.
