A hands-on fiber arts program at Farrel-McWhirter from 12–2pm — kids and families try spinning, weaving, and working with raw fleece from the farm's sheep. A genuinely interesting afternoon activity that connects the farm animals to a craft.

Pump It Up's monthly Friday open jump — inflatable obstacle courses, slides, and bounce rooms at 11605 NE 116th St, 4:30–5:40pm. Open to all ages; adults and crawlers free.

🎶 ‘Shrek, The Musical, Jr.’ (Mercer Island)
Once upon a time, in a faraway swamp, there lived an ogre named Shrek. One day, Shrek finds his swamp invaded by banished fairytale misfits who have been cast off by Lord Farquaad, a tiny terror with big ambitions. When Shrek sets off with a wisecracking donkey to confront Farquaad, he's handed a task — if he rescues feisty princess Fiona, his swamp will be righted. Shrek tries to win Fiona’s love and vanquish Lord Farquaad, but a fairytale wouldn't be complete without a few twists and turns along the way. Crossroads Bellevue hosts free live performances at the indoor Market Stage every Friday evening, 7–8:45pm. All ages, no tickets, and you can grab dinner at the food court or nearby restaurants while the music plays.

🚂 Mother’s Day Weekend Train Rides (Snoqualmie)
Enjoy a scenic train ride through the upper Snoqualmie Valley aboard historic rail equipment! Begin your 2-hour, round trip experience in Snoqualmie when you climb aboard historic passenger cars and journey west to the top of Snoqualmie Falls, pausing at the crest for a view of the lower river valley. Return east to the Railway History Center (RHC) for a 30-minute stopover to visit the Train Shed Exhibit Hall. Then hop back aboard and continue travelling east to the North Bend Depot. After a quick stop to pick up passengers, you'll return to the Snoqualmie Depot.
